This week saw the conclusion of the Verulympic events. Years 7 took part in a triathlon (swim, run and bike) competition at Westminster Lodge. Dan O’Toole was the champion. The Year 10 biathlon (run and bike) was held at Sandpit Lane on a very hot Wednesday afternoon whereby Oliver Stockwell (10Y) demonstrated his outstanding biathlon skills. All the action was captured by the Verulam film crew. They will be making a short film which they are hoping to publish on YouTube and the Verulam Facebook page in the coming weeks. We urge all parents to view the film.

Special mention goes to Jacob Saunders in Year 9 who was victorious in the Archery competition which took place a very wet evening at Sandpit Lane. The school would like to thank the Abbey bowmen who organised the event.

Just to remind all parents that the full Verulympic results are announced in final assemblies the week commencing 17th July.
