Verulamians RFC

I am pleased to report that Verulamium’s RFC — the Rugby Club founded by ex Grammar/Verulam School members in 1948 won their Herts/Middx League 1 this year and now move up to London NW3 next season. To add icing to the cake they retained the Herts Trophy at Saracens Allianz Stadium on April 30th by thrashing Barnet Elizabethans RFC 53–10. Some of the ex–Verulam School members who have featured throughout the season have been Alex Ricci, Robin Wildey, Adam Rees, James Hayes, Gareth Waters, Craig Cameron and Joe Seymour.
As everyone at Verulam School should be aware, Vees on Sundays run a 250 strong Mini/Junior set up down at Cotlandswick/London Colney opposite Ayletts Nursery to which every aspiring rugby devotee from the School is welcome. Thursday training sessions, as from end of June, are available to ALL Mini/ Junior and Senior members. Qualified coaches exist at every age level and medically trained personnel and a physio are also available. So the invitation is there to join a successful and ambitious rugby Club — USE it!
