Courses for Summer Term 2017

Courses for the summer term 2017 which still have availability include:

Creative Writing for Adults – Mondays 7.30 – 9.30pm starting 8 May, Verulam School. Suitable for beginners and more experienced writers. Explore the elements of fiction writing whilst focusing on your own projects. Fee £88.

Reading Group for Adults – next meeting 7pm at Verulam School on Thursday 27 April. Books: ‘Our Endless Numbered Days” by Claire Fuller and ‘The High Mountains of Portugal’ by Yann Martell. Free of charge.

Coding Club for years 5 and 6 and 7 – Wednesdays 4 – 5pm at Verulam School. 3 May to 12 July £50 for ten sessions. Suitable for beginners. Explore Pythan, Lua, C# and more.

Art textiles for Adults – Wednesdays 7.30 to 9.30pm at Beaumont School 26 April to 24 May. £45 for five sessions. Suitable for beginners.

Woodwork for Adults – Tuesdays 7.30 – 9.30 pm at Beaumont School 2 May to 27 June £80 for eight sessions. Ideal for beginners. Students can accompany a fee paying adult for £16.

Hatha Yoga classes – Wednesdays 6.30 – 8pm Sandringham School 10 May to 19 July Fee £90 for ten sessions. Small group which can incorporate beginners.

Community Choir – Wednesdays 6.30 – 7.30 pm Sandringham School 3 May to 10 July. £40 for ten sessions. Beginners welcome, no audition.

Flower Arranging Workshop “ Perfect Peonies 7 – 9pm Sandringham School Wed 7 June. £30 inclusive of flowers and foliage. Beginners welcome.

Street Dance for children in years 3 – 6 Fridays 3.50 – 4.30 pm Sandringham School starts 28 April. £24 for 6 sessions. Suitable for beginners.

Modern Foreign Language classes – if you already have some knowledge of French, German, Spanish or Italian and would like to start learning again please contact Carole Heselton to discuss the classes available.
